UTEx-BGCF

UTEx-BGCF is the core subsystem of the Genew mSwitch IMS solution. It is a unified  CallServer for FTTx, SIP, LTE and VoIP subscribers. Designed using a powerful mobile & multi-media software architecture, and bundled with the HSS, OMC-S and mBOSS, the mSwitch UTEx-BGCF system not only meets the increasing requirements for wireless communication, but it also provide a smooth migration path to the next generation communication network.

Designed using a powerful mobile & multi-media software architecture, and bundled with the HSS, OMC-S and mBOSS, the mSwitch UTEX-BGCF system not only meets the increasing requirements for wireless communication, but it also provide a smooth migration path to the next generation communication network.


With integrated capability for both wireless and wired access management, the UTEX-BGCF is one core component of the total mSwitch IMS system.  As a carrier-class BGCF, UTEX-BGCF works with the CSCF to route the call to peering  IMS network or PSTN network. It will also select which MGCF to use if call is routed to PSTN/PLMN. UTEX-BGCF has build-in CAP/INAP supporting so that it can play role of SSF to interwork with IN SCP.
